"Create two consumer profiles for a fictional client.
You are free to choose the client and the product. "
For this task I chose to continue working with the "Food & Malt" brand and create customer profiles that respond to the brand. I wanted to include what interests and ideals the two customers have and what would they would be looking for in a restaurant.
My first customer is Kristoffer
He is a young family man living in Oslo. As an owner of a motorcycle shop, he loves meeting new people and working on his bikes. He likes to spend his free time with friends and family and enjoy good food and craft beer. He likes to stay at the bar, drink beer, talk with friends and listen to rock music.
My second customer is Anette
She is a young and free woman from Bergen. She is a yoga instructor and prefers to spend her free time with only close friends or even alone. Healthy food plays a big part of her life and she loves homemade craft beer combined with light meals. She doesn't like crowded and noisy places, so she usually orders food for home.
"List the things that you think are important to include in a consumer profile and show your research."
The important things to include in the customer profile would be the things that best respond to the brand ideals we are representing. In this case the "Food & Malt" brand is for craft beer and homemade food served in a bar/restaurant. That means we need to research:
- What age group our customers are
- Where are they located
- Would they go to our restaurant alone or with friends and family
- What atmosphere they prefer
- What are their interests and what kind of commercial would attract their attention
- What are their favorite food and drink
- And last, but not least - what are their expectations from our restaurant and brand
